A huge thank you to Seb Smith, Mayowa Olagunju and Aidan Carthy from Dentons for joining our Year 12 enrichment session and giving our students such an open and valuable insight into careers in law.
What made the session particularly valuable was hearing about different routes into the legal profession. From trainee solicitors to the solicitor apprenticeship route, our students were able to hear first-hand about their journeys, experiences and the realities of starting a career in law.
Thank you for answering our students’ questions so openly and honestly, sharing the lessons you have learned along the way, and helping our young people understand that there isn’t just one route into the profession.
It was also great for students to hear about Dentons as an employer and the experiences of those building their careers there – giving them an insight not only into the work itself, but also the importance of finding an organisation where they can learn, develop and feel supported.
A special thank you to Worktree for helping us organise the session and continuing to connect our students with employers and people who can bring careers to life.
These conversations matter. They give young people the opportunity to ask real questions, hear real experiences and start imagining where their own journey could take them. Thank you Dentons and Worktree for investing your time in the next generation.
