Welcome by the Headteacher

It is with great excitement that I welcome you to Watling Academy’s new Sixth Form, opening in September 2025. This is a pivotal moment for our school, and we are thrilled to be offering our current Year 11 students the opportunity to be a part of the very first cohort to join our Sixth Form.

The Watling Academy Sixth Form will provide an environment where students can pursue their aspirations with confidence, supported by a team of dedicated educators within a vibrant community. Here, students will have access to high-quality learning experiences, state-of-the-art facilities, and a curriculum designed to prepare them for success in both higher education and future careers.

Our team of dedicated teachers, experts in their fields and deeply passionate about their subjects, have been eagerly awaiting the chance to share their love of learning with post-16 students. They bring not only their expertise, but also a commitment to inspiring and supporting our students to reach their full potential and exceed their own expectations.

Watling Academy Sixth Form will provide bespoke facilities designed to enhance our students’ experience, including dedicated study spaces and catering facilities, creating an environment that supports both academic and personal growth. We are committed to providing the resources and support needed to ensure that each student is prepared for success.

For September 2025, applications will be open exclusively to our current Year 11 students. This is a unique opportunity to continue their journey with us, further building on the values and community they know and contributing to a Sixth Form that will set the standard for excellence.
