Year 12 Business and Economics students recently enjoyed a visit from Mark Brookes from the Bank of England, who brought economics to life through his session, giving students insight into how economic theory is applied in the real world. He also shared his own international career journey and how his role has evolved over time. The session included an open discussion and Q&A, giving students the opportunity to gain a clearer understanding of what working in the sector is really like. Opportunities like this play an important role in helping students link their learning to real career pathways, develop their confidence, and feel more prepared to plan their next steps. We are proud to continue building strong employer partnerships that bridge the gap between education and employment.
